About Us

Landmarkers was established in 1986 by sister and brother team, Jasmin Cann and Doug Cann. Jasmin is a qualified designer and a Kew trained horticulturalist with 21 years experience. Doug has been specialising in water and lighting for many years. Our team of landscapers have many years experience of stone masonry, planting and landscape construction.

One of our main influences is the unique Scottish landscape and the varieties of plants that thrive in this climate. Our work is based mainly on using natural materials to create timeless designs, whether traditional or contemporary.

We work on a flexible basis depending on our clients' needs and the nature of the project. The process of interacting with clients and staff, sharing ideas, creative design and hands on installation on site is as important as the finished product. We often find that some of the details of the design and planting are realised during the process of building. We enjoy the installation process, so allowing us greater flexibility and the client a unique garden.

We have been awarded 5 Gold medals at Gardening Scotland and 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal by the RHS.

After the completion of the project we can arrange the maintenance of the planting and technical water works if required.
